Tour Ginkgo

Our World is a strange place. Many people are suffering from sickness, hunger or thirst, or are fleeing from wars or natural catastrophes – while a few well trained and nourished athletes from mainly rich countries ride nonstop through the USA. I have therefore decided to support with RAAM 2010 participation the Tour-Ginkgo charity initiated by the Christiane-Eichenhofer foundation, which supports highly sick children – and you can help us!

It is quite simple: For every kilometer I ride at the RAAM 2010, you donate 0.10 €, which go 100 percent to the charity. As there are 4830 kilometers between the start and the finish line, we expect 483 € per donor. Of course, if I only managed to ride half the distance, only half the money would be donated: This gives me, as one can expect, a great motivation for completing the race.

The RAAM 2010 starts on June 9. We will report daily with pictures and interviews. All prospective donors will be listed on this page and can be linked to their own web-pages. For tax purposes, all donors will get a receipt if requested. In addition, all donors will receive a DVD of our RAAM 2010 documentary – if all things work out as planned.
